Bock focused on general election

SOUTH BEND -- Democratic Congressional candidate Joe Bock has decided not to participate in any debates ahead of the May primary, choosing instead to focus on the general election and likely Republican candidate Jackie Walorski, a campaign spokesperson said.

"The debate we are engaged in is against Congresswoman Jackie Walorski and the do-nothing Congress … which shut the government down and put our economy at great risk," spokesperson Jennifer Coffman said in a statement. "The debate we are in is about economic fairness for all Hoosiers."

The decision drew criticism this past week from one of Bock's three primary opponents.
