Fresh off the heels of GOP Governors dominating the “Top Competitive States”rankings from Site Selection Magazine, come the new rankings today of the “2014 Best States For Business” from Chief Executive Magazine.
And it’s no surprise – every single one of Chief Executive Magazine’s Top Ten States For Business are led by Republican Governors. Meanwhile, Dem Gov states California, New York and Illinois – again rank at the bottom.
Republican governors are lowering taxes, cutting wasteful spending, balancing budgets, reforming education, pension, tax, and regulatory systems, reforming collective bargaining and enacting right-to-work laws, and most importantly, putting policies in place to make their states engines of economic growth. And as these rankings show – they get results.
