INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer released this statement welcoming Ivanka Trump, advisor to the President of the United States and co-chair of the American Workforce Advisory Board, to Indiana today as she joins leaders from Salesforce, one of Indiana’s largest tech employers.
While in Indiana, she will participate in a Salesforce panel discussing workforce and training issues, while Salesforce signs the Trump Administration's Pledge to America’s Workers, committing to expand programs that educate, train and reskill American workers from high-school age to near-retirement.
“We’re very excited to welcome Ivanka Trump to Indiana, a state that’s set the national benchmark for helping workers build the skills needed to fill high-wage, in-demand jobs.
"Under the leadership of President Donald Trump and Governor Eric Holcomb, more Hoosiers are working in the private sector than ever before in Indiana history, while tech jobs in Central Indiana are growing at twice the national average. Here in Indiana, that’s because Governor Holcomb has made workforce development a top priority, including launching Next Level Jobs, which is helping Hoosiers earn training both on the job and in the classroom.
“It’s great to see Indiana’s leadership on this important issue bring Ivanka Trump to Indiana again, just as Governor Holcomb is leading on this issue nationally alongside Ivanka Trump as one of just two governors on the American Workforce Advisory Board.”
