Pence plane sold for $1.8 million to help police

INDIANAPOLIS – More than $1.8 million raised by selling the Indiana Gov. Mike Pence’s airplane is going to the state police.

The 2001 Beechcraft Super King Air B200 twin-turbine aircraft was sold Jan. 30 to Florida-based American Aviation for about $134,000 more than its asking price. The business offers flight classes and airplane repairs.
