Indiana Republican Party Chairman Jeff Cardwell issued the following statement today on Gov. Mike Pence’s letter to President Obama regarding the EPA’s overreaching and poorly constructed Clean Power Plan:
“Gov. Mike Pence took a strong stand today on behalf of ratepayers and the 26,000 Hoosier coal employees who would be adversely impacted by the federal government’s overreaching Clean Power Plan,” said Indiana Republican Party Chairman Jeff Cardwell. “We are thankful for Pence’s leadership and his promise to block this damaging rule from being implemented if it’s not significantly improved.”
