Gov. Mike Pence signed a bill into law Monday to shorten the ISTEP+ exam, just two days before students were scheduled to begin taking the test on Wednesday.
The bill that passed the House and the Senate will shorten the test by three hours for all students and eliminate social studies requirements for fifth and seventh grades.
