Two manufacturers in the state have announced expansion plans. Cloverdale-based Scorpion Protective Coatings Inc. says it plans to nearly triple its work force, adding 25 jobs by 2018. Chase Plastic Services Inc., a company headquartered in Michigan, is looking to invest $5.8 million into a new South Bend storage and logistics facility that could create more than a dozen jobs.
