FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After a night full of speeches and celebrations, Indiana Republican delegates spent the second day of the convention tackling their platform at the Grand Wayne Convention Center. Delegates convened at 10 a.m. for the beginning of the general session. They voted on a platform for the Republican Party and elected the Republican state ticket for the fall.
“Basically, the platform is a good solid platform that anyone in the state of Indiana can support it,” said Vern Vierk, a delegate from Lake County.
