Venue for Indiana GOP convention will allow guns

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — The main venue for the Indiana Republican state convention will allow delegates to bring guns with them after all.

Party officials had said Fort Wayne’s Grand Wayne Center wouldn’t allow firearms for the June 6-7 convention, but the center’s director says it must abide by a 2011 state law preventing local government units from imposing weapons bans.
