Indiana Republican Party State Chairman Tim Berry issued the following statement on Gov. Mike Pence’s announcement today that Jim Atterholt will serve as chief of staff.
“Jim’s breadth of experience working with state agencies and the Indiana General Assembly will serve him well as chief of staff to Gov. Mike Pence ,” Berry said. “His career is reflective of his commitment to public service and an added value to the governor’s team.”
Atterholt is the chairman of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. He previously worked as Insurance Commissioner and was a member of the Indiana House of Representatives from 1998 to 2002.
