INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 20, 2023) − Vice President Kamala Harris will today make a political stop in Indianapolis to “continue her leadership,” according to the White House.

In response to whatever that means, Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer released the following statement on Vice President Harris’ record of “leadership”:

“Vice President Kamala Harris doesn’t just deliver word salads but failed leadership, too.

“Since being named ‘border czar’ by President Biden over two years ago, the U.S. has seen a historic humanitarian crisis at the southern border, with a record number of encounters and more than 1.4 million illegal immigrants escaping into the country. At the same time, record amounts of fentanyl and other illicit drugs are pouring into the country, wreaking havoc on communities, including here in Indiana.

“In leadership, Vice President Harris has failed. And her visit today is just another reminder of that.”
