After 2nd District win, U.S. Rep. Walorski sounds off on national security, immigration reform, Obamacare

There could be a new tone in Washington in the wake of Tuesday’s voting.

That’s what U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski, newly elected to her second term, foresees.

Republicans will wrest control of the U.S. Senate from Democrats come January per Tuesday’s results, meaning all of Congress will be in GOP hands. President Obama, a Democrat, can still veto congressional action, but Walorski, a Republican, thinks the GOP success Tuesday sends a clear message.
