INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 8, 2024) – Chairwoman Anne Hathaway released the following statement regarding the decision of 8th district Congressman Larry Bucschon to not seek reelection at the end of his term:
“We are very proud of Congressman Bucshon’s many years of dedicated service to all Hoosiers, but especially to those in the 8th district. Congressman Bucshon brought a unique perspective to Congress, having served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and as a practicing physician and surgeon.
Congressman Bucshon has worked hard over the last 13 years to improve the lives of Hoosiers and will leave Congress having made Indiana a better place. We wish Congressman Bucshon and his family the very best in the future.”
