INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 9, 2024) – Chairwoman Anne Hathaway released the following statement regarding Governor Holcomb’s decision to send the Indiana National Guard to the southern border:
“The border crisis brought on by the Biden administration is a national security issue that impacts all 50 states. 71% of all Indiana overdose deaths from 2021-2022 were from synthetic opioids, like fentanyl, which largely come from the southern border. Hoosier Republicans stand with Governor Holcomb and appreciate his leadership.”
