Coats to speak at annual Lincoln dinner

U.S. Senator Dan Coats will provide the keynote address during the annual Lincoln Day Dinner hosted by the Clay County Republican Club on March 1.

Coats won election in 2010 for his second stint in the Senate.

The first stint came in 1980, when he was elected to serve in Congress. He was then appointed to serve as U.S. Senator in 1988 to replace Dan Quayle, who was elected to serve as Vice President under President George H. Bush.
