INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – 15 members of Congress sent a letter to President Obama on Monday calling for the resignations of three top Veterans Affairs officials.

The letter comes a week after the Indianapolis American Legion made national news when the top commander first called for the VA Secretary to step down.

Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski is among the 15 members of Congress calling for the three resignations, including VA Secretary Eric Shinseki.

Walorski sits on the House Veterans Affairs Committee which oversees the VA. At a VA hearing in April, Walorski said, “This is an American disaster.”
