State voting for technology

The official in charge of Indiana elections appears to regard the term "technology" as gospel.

As Indiana Secretary of State, Connie Lawson oversees all state elections. She said technology makes it easier for Hoosier voters to participate in the democratic process.

"Now, you can go online and register to vote if you have a valid driver's license," said Lawson. "Also, there are ways for people to find out the names of their elected officials on the internet and through the "Who Are Your Elected Officials' application on your smartphone. With this application, you can go anywhere and find on-demand information about elected officials by using the app."
