Statement by Chairman Kyle Hupfer on Rating Changes in Indiana’s First Congressional District

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Apr. 20, 2022) — Last week, Joe Biden hit the lowest or tied the lowest approval rating ever for a president in three separate polls. 

This week, Frank Mrvan, who votes with Joe Biden 100% of the time, is feeling the consequences of that.  

Both Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball have downgraded Mrvan’s race from “Likely Democrat” to “Leans Democrat” — a warning sign for what’s to come in November.
