Employers at Indiana job fair have 1,400 spots

Positions for welders, cooks, carpenters, a bike technician, creative director, truck drivers, package handlers, engineers and sales associates could be filled by 59 companies during a job fair Tuesday hosted by WorkOne Southern Indiana in New Albany.

A variety of employers — including Summit Trucking, Horseshoe Southern Indiana, Amazon, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Connextions and Beach Mold and Tool — have 1,400 positions, ranging from labor to professional levels. The event will be from 3 to 7 p.m. at the WorkOne Center, 2125 State St.
