Donnelly Built Career Supporting Failed Democrat Policies
INDIANAPOLIS - Democrat Joe Donnelly is a reliable vote for his fellow Democrats, and through more than a decade in Congress, he has built a track record of supporting failed Democrat policies and standing against proven Republican policies that are helping Hoosiers throughout the state.
"Whether it's his vote for Obama's stimulus in 2009 or his vote against President Trump's tax reform just late last year, Democrat Joe Donnelly is a reliable vote for his Democrat bosses, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi," said Kyle Hupfer, chairman of the Indiana Republican Party. "Democrat Donnelly might call himself a moderate, but Hoosiers can look at his record and see the truth. Hoosiers are tired of the Democrat obstruction, and are ready to send Mike Braun to the U.S. Senate, a consistent conservative who will bring real-world solutions to Washington."
Donnelly's history of voting with Democrats includes:

Democrat Donnelly has voted at least 11 times against repealing the federal death tax and pushed for tax increases in 2012 and 2013 as part of balanced budget debates. These votes earned him seven "Fs" from them National Taxpayers Union. Read more.

Democrat Donnelly voted in favor of Obama's stimulus package in 2009, going as far as saying that, "every dollar in this program...is needed." The stimulus, which increased the national debt by $830 billion, dolled out hundreds of millions of dollars to companies like Solynda, which went bankrupt and burned through Hoosiers' hard-earned tax dollars. - Democrat Donnelly Co-Sponsored Obama's Failed Cash for Clunkers
While Democrat Donnelly has never been the lead sponsor of a bill to pass Congress, he did co-sponsor the 2009 program Cash for Clunkers. Experts agree that Cash for Clunkers hurt the automotive industry and didn't create nearly as many new jobs as promised, all while putting taxpayers on the hook for an additional $3 billion during the recession. - Democrat Donnelly Was a Loud Voice Supporting the Dangerous Iran Nuclear Deal
Democrat Donnelly told Hoosiers in 2015 that Obama's Iran Nuclear Deal deserved an “opportunity to succeed." When it comes down to it, Donnelly stands with Democrats, not with Hoosiers, and it's time for him to go." Read more.
