Senate District 20 Caucus Set for September 6
New Senator Will Fill Remainder of Luke Kenley's Term
INDIANAPOLIS - Today, Indiana Republican Party State Chairman Kyle Hupfer officially called a caucus of eligible precinct committee members to fill a scheduled vacancy in the office of Senate District 20, the seat currently held by Senator Luke Kenley.
The caucus will be held at 6:00pm ET on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the Ivy Tech Auditorium located at 300 North 17th Street, Noblesville, IN, 46060.
On Wednesday, July 12, 2017, Chairman Hupfer received official communication from Senate President Pro Tempore David Long that Senate Luke Kenley plans to resign his seat in the Indiana State Senate effective September 30, 2017. The individual chosen at the September 6th caucus will fill the remainder of Senator Kenley’s term.

The caucus will be open to credentialed media who pre-register by September 4, 2017, by contacting [email protected].
